Gateway Museum and Red Barn Preserve: The Gateway Museum is Morristown's place to discover the stories of the facinating people who have made Morristown home. Tour both floors of the historic Comstock Building that was built in 1910 by the Comstock family, owners of the Indian Root Factory and served as a recreation hall for their employes. The MGM also operates the The Red Barn Preserve, to preserve and open our natural wetlands for accessible, family-friendly hikes and learning opportunities. The Museum has a robust Summertime offering of events, concerts (almost weekly!) and presentations.
