NOTICE of completion of tentative town assessment roll

​NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE
TOWN ASSESSMENT ROLL
(Pursuant to Sections 506 and 526 of the Real Property Tax Law)
HEARING OF COMPLAINTSNotice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Morristown, County of St. Lawrence has completed the tentative assessment roll for the current year and that a copy has been left with the Town Clerk at the Town of Morristown Offices, 604 Main St., Morristown NY, where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until the first Tuesday in June. The tentative assessment roll is also available for viewing on the assessing unit's website-www.townofmorristownny.org or the St. Lawrence County Website-www.stlawco.org-per requirement of RPTL section 1590(2).
The Assessor, or his or her designee, will be in attendance with the tentative assessment roll at 604 Main Street, Morristown NY.

The Board of Assessment Review will meet on June 1, 2021 between the hours of 4 PM to 8 PM in said Town at 402 Gouverneur Street, Morristown, NY, to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments, on the application of any person believing themselves to be aggrieved.
A publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the assessor's office.
