The regular monthly Town of Morristown Town Board meeting was held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 6:00 pm at 402 Gouverneur Street, Morristown, NY.     

The Town of Morristown is accepting purchase offers on a vacant parcel of property for sale within the hamlet of Morristown on Bay Street, identified as Lot #6.  Offers must be received at the Town Clerks office by 4:00 pm on Oct. 10, 2023.   Please call the Town office at 315-375-6510 for information.  

Bids for the Concrete, Heating & Plumbing, and Electrical site work for the Town Highway Barn are being accepted.  All sealed bids must be submitted  by 3:00 pm on August 1, 2023 to the Town Clerk's Office.  Bids will be opened on August 1, 2023 at 6:00 pm.   Bid information is available at the Town Clerk's Office Monday - Thursday 9am - 4pm.  Please call 315-375-6510 with any questions.        

Please take notice that the Town of Morristown will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, July18th, 2023, at 6:00 at 402 Gouverneur Street, Morristown.  They will be reviewing bids and floor plans for the Town Highway Garage. Also, there will be a discussion of the options going forward following Wednesday's, July 12th, informational meeting concerning the Proposed Water District.

THERE WILL BE A PUBLIC HEARING HELD ON TUESDAY, JULY 11, 2023 AT 6:00 PM AT THE MORRISTOWN FIRE HALL, LOCATED AT 200 MORRIS STREET, TO CONSIDER THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE PROPOSED  TOWN ORDINANCE.  THE TOWN ORDINANCE CAN BE FOUND ON THE WEBSITE UNDER CODE ENFORCEMNET DEPARTMENT.  THE REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING WILL FOLLOW THE PUBLIC HEARING.    

ALL TOWN OFFICES WILL BE CLOSED THE WEEK OF JULY 3, - JULY 7, 2023.  THE TOWN OFFICES WILL RESUME NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS ON MONDAY , JULY 10, 2023.  

The Town of Morristown is soliciting bids for replacement of the School House roof with Synthetic Cedar Shakes.  Sealed bids must be submitted and received by 4:00 pm July 10, 2023.  Please call the Town Clerk's Office at 315-375-6510 or Highway Superintendent 315-221-1651 for information or bid specifications.
