The Thousand Islands vacation area begins here and runs to Lake Ontario. The Town is comprised of three separate, but united hamlets: Edwardsville, Brier Hill, and Morristown. The Town Board Meeting is scheduled for the second Tuesday of the month, Tuesday, May 12, 6 p.m. at 402 Gouverneur Street, Morristown, NY.
The New York State Burn Ban for 2026 will be in effect until May 14. Residents are prohibited from burning brush, leaves, and yard debris to reduce wildfire risks. Exceptions include small cooking fires and small campfires using clean, untreated wood.
